704-332-4535 ext. 11. The Arc of Mecklenburg relies on funds raised
in the community through donations and fundraisers, as well as
funding provided by The United Way of Central Carolinas. Your
generous donation to the Arc is fully tax-deductible as we are a
501(c)3 corporation under IRS law. Best of all, your donation gains
you membership as an Arc of Mecklenburg supporter.
Our membership advocates for the rights of
individuals with developmental disabilities on important issues that
affect their well-being, their families, and our community. They
support specialized training, workshops, projects, and conventions
that cater to the learning and independence of people with
developmental disabilities. Our membership also serves as a much
needed resource and support system for children, adults, and
families affected by developmental disabilities.
